Where are you located? Also - most cities have some kind of home for disabled children (probably) in the directory are always donations. I worked in the school, and when something like this, we would have thrown a party!
As a suggestion, you can check whether there is a Shriners hospital in its region in general. I know that the acceptance of such gifts. Shriners Hospitals do not charge for their services and are funded through donations.
